The job, told straight
Here's what the work is really like - the good parts and the hard parts.
This job is
- Working in people's homes and out in the community.
- Personal care, cooking, transport, and everyday tasks.
- Helping people do things for themselves, at their own pace.
- Turning up on time, every time - people rely on you.
This job is not
- Doing things for people that they can do for themselves.
- A desk job. You're out and about, on your feet.
- The same every day. Plans change, and the day changes with them.
- Always easy. Some days are hard, and the good days make up for it.
